During these nine nights and ten days, nine forms of Shakti/Devi are certainly worshiped and is celebrated for Goddess Durga, the manifestation of Deity in form of Shakti.
Navaratri – Navratri is of 3-day sets, devoted to various goddesses. 1st - 3 three days are celebrated being devoted to Durga
Next set is celebrated to Lakshmi and other to Saraswati – goddess of wisdom . The 10th day is commonly referred to as Tenth day is known as Bijaya Dashami / Vijayadashami or Dussehra, which is the day believed that Goddess Durga defeated demons and also Lord Ram defeated Ravan determined per lunar calendar.
